The Flavors of Wedding Cakes

Cakes are not just a typical dough that’s good for breakfast and snack but a specially-baked mixture of various tasty ingredients. Baking a cake for special events like weddings isn’t to be taken lightly, so much so that most couples would not dare to make their own wedding cake. The mixture of ingredients and flavoring, along with the baking process, require skills to achieve the right taste matching the desired flavor.

Cakes come in a variety of flavors, each achieved by the wet and dry ingredients either added into the mixture or overlaid on the surface of the baked product. The most common flavors of wedding cakes that perfectly suit wedding celebrations include chocolate and vanilla. Other flavors are concealed within the cake by the crust of fondant and frosting.
